Shana and Auntie Suzanne
Shana has grown quite a bit since she was born. Here she with her jetsetting, doula-in-waiting Auntie Suzanne. Suzanne's first babysitting duty was to escort Granny-san from Tokyo to San Francisco. She was right there in the thick of things during labor and a great help before and afterwards. A big thanks to Suzanne for making the path to parenthood a lot smoother. Shana is very lucky Mommy and Suzanne went to grad school together.

Hey my favourite people! How's my little niece doing? Thanks so much for the lovely comments about me. It put a HUGE smile on my already smiling face. Shana really is getting bigger (after looking at photos with her grandpa). She's turning into a real beauty. I can't wait to see her again. When, oh when will I see you all again? Love and hugs from Japan.
